You can change the name of your Chrome file to make sure that you are not facing the error status_access_violation chrome.

  1. Use the Windows Key + E to open File Explorer on your computer after which, you need to type the code: C:\Program Files (x86) \Google in the address bar.

  2. Now, you need to look for your Chrome file with the name chrome.exe. Right-click on the file and then, choose the rename option to change the name of the file.

  3. Choose any other name for your file like Google_chrome.exe or Chrom.exe. Make sure that you do not change the file extension and close the file explorer.

  4. After this, you can try to open Google Chrome and you will see that you will face no issue opening Google Chrome ad using it.
