Windows allows you to send the print jobs even when your printer is offline, so your documents get printed the moment printer is turned on. The computer sends commands once the printer is back online. Changing the HP printer status from offline to online sends the print jobs directly to the HP printer without any delay.
Here are the steps you need to take when the printer is offline.
How to turn HP printer online
Open Control panel on your device and choose Devices and Printers from the list of options.
Now, you need to right-click on the HP printer you want to switch online from offline. Now, select ‘See What’s printing’ option from the pop-up menu.
Now, you need to click on the Printer from the top menu and uncheck the ‘Use Printer Offline’ option from the next window.
